Of interest to true & aspiring geeks:

EASUS Disk Manager Useful disk/partition management tool free for personal use.  I have used this to re-size partitions and change partition types from FAT32 to NTFS.

Puppy Linux A Linux OS distribution that run completely in memory.  This makes it an interesting Linux to use for secure computing and runs great on really old computers.

EasyPeasy Linux  A great small system Linux.  Designed for netbooks, but is one of my pics for replacing Windows for light/beginner computer users.  Very pretty, very functional. Also a good secure web browsing choice as it is supplied in forms that will run in a virtual machine from a USB drive.

FileZilla full featured FTP program.

Total Commander  The best file manager program BAR NONE.

Thumbs Plus My long-time picture manager of choice. Has built in tools for useful photo fix-up.  A batch facility for applying the same changes to a set of photos.  Great stuff.
